Terms and conditions

BESurvey is an innovative 3D laser scanning surveys company that uses the latest technology to provide highly accurate measurements and high-definition 3D imagery at large scale. Our services can be applied to your designs, delivery and final processes of buildings, sites and plant facilities

Access

Please note that access to the areas should be arranged prior our survey commencement. BES shall advise the client of any access restrictions or related issues which could have an impact on the survey requirements or deliverables. BES should notify the client as soon as practical of such issues and ensure all reasonable steps are taken to reduce adverse impacts.

The client and BES shall agree any actions to resolve identified access issues or provide explicit agreement on omission from the survey scope of areas proven to be inaccessible.

This part of the quotation is based upon the above outlined elements and has been priced in accordance with the client supplied scope at the time of preparation. If additional site or processing work is required beyond the items outlined above due to amendments or additions to the scope by the client, we reserve the right to re-visit our price for the work. This can be achieved by the client requesting an additional fixed price for these variations on the original scope, or by agreed additional site visits or processing at day rates.

All necessary parties to be notified of our presence on site to allow free access for our survey personnel in areas where surveying and setting out works need to be carried out, as and when required.

All areas should be kept clear of materials and safe for personnel to work in.

Any visits to site that may have to be rescheduled due to lack of access, etc. or other problems that are out of our control will be charged at day rate.

Obscured features

The surveyor will not be responsible for omission of details obscured during site survey dates unless action for clearance in advance has been agreed and completed for:

  • features obscured by vegetation, debris, snow, sand, earth, when working outside and plaster, cladding, carpet etc. when working inside buildings
  • features obscured by vehicles, trailers, temporary covers, stacked materials
  • features inside buildings obscured by coverings, furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • features inside inspection covers/manholes/chambers obscured by debris, blockages (where internal chamber survey details are requested in the scope)
  • features omitted due to lack of adequate lighting or physical access (i.e. at height)

Actions for reducing or removing obscured items are to be undertaken by the client prior to the survey date.

BES has not allowed for any specialist access equipment to carry out the works. The Client will provide any platforms or equipment as such. All areas should be kept clear of materials and safe for personnel to work in.

If the account is to be billed to a third party, we would require a letter or email of appointment directly from them together with their address for invoicing prior to commencement of any work.
